Hello Buttheads, I welcome you to my Motocross Madness, the site dedicated to the Honda CRF 450 X and CRF 450R World Class Motocross Racer Bikes.
If you want to join in the fun and contribute your experiences to the site, sign up for a new account and get started adding articles, stories and photos of your bike. It's lots of fun and very easy to learn. We will be here to assist in the case of an emergency. So sign up today and let's get a big MX blog going about our rides. See you at the track.
I'm off to college at EWU for the next 4 years but will be back in Alaska during the summers for some ass kicking trail riding and more of the local motocross racing at the Twin Cities Raceway in Soldotna Alaska. Hope to see yoou up there this summer for some dirt riding and salmon fishing.
Added a motocross forum ( Had to shut it down due to my current class load) but hope to have it back this summer. At that time I hope you join up and share some riding experiences. Discuss just about anything related to the interests of the Motocross Gear Heads found in the forum riding bikes from Honda, Kawasaki, KTM, Suzuki, Yamaha, Husqvarna. If it's related to Motocross, Enduro Motorcycles or some neet new motocross gear, lets hear about it.
Just curious, how did you spend your Economic Stimulus Check? |

Me and a buddy went on an all day ride in northern california in the tahoe national forest. Which most is blm land. we rode 50 miles towards lake tahoe and landed near truckee california. Crazy terrain but I bet not a crazy as what is in Alaska. We found our way up a couple mountains ended up at the top of a couple ski resorts and made our way to donner lake. When we went back to our truck we were greeted by 2 sherrifs trying to tow my truck and give us tickets. They drove back to the main road to escort the tow truck in and we loaded up and split. WHAT HAPPEND TO THE OPEN AREAS TO RIDE? I NEED TO MOVE TO ALASKA OR WYOMING OR SOMETHIN. Dumb story I know i know but what stories are there to tell about riding, we all experience those gnarly crashes, The crazy rides, the i dont know how i made it up that feeling, the damn im fast feeling and the overall great feeling of hopping on your bike and having a great ride. |

Well today my sons friend and riding partner picked up his new 2006 Honda CRF 250R twin piped rocket from Rons Honda in Soldotna Alaska as a congratulations from his parents for an outstanding Junior year at Kenai Central High School. Ronny was moving up from a CRF 150 but had some experience on the CRF 230 and a Yamaha YZ 125. This was to be a big step in his riding career and one not to be taken to lightly. After a trip to Soldotna to load the new bike it was off to the track to see if all the hoopla about this bike was fact or fiction. Read on to see our review of the first ride on the CRF 250R. |

| This is the Practice Schedule for the Twin City Raceway, between Kenai and Soldotna.
Due to public abuse of the track, practices will be open to members only, except for two days, which will be open practices. Please note that Monday evenings are set aside for 50s, 60s and mini-quads.
Twin Cities Raceway Park, KPRL Motocross Members
Members will be given a key and will be required to open and close the gate every time they are at the track. Close the gate behind you and keep it closed even while you are practicing. |

If hardcore racing is not on the agenda, and having a great time on a fun and easy to ride bike is what you are after, consider looking at the Honda CRF 230 for a great time with very little maintenance. The CRF230 was my introduction into the fantastically exciting world of MX riding. It’s hard to believe that just 2 short years ago we purchased a pair of Honda’s, the 230 and a 150. It all started so innocently, just a way to blow off some steam and get outside and have some fun. Next thing we knew it was off to the track and time to learn to fly.
Sure enough, the CRF 230 had some wings, in fact it was the perfect bike to start riding on as it’s not overwhelming, very easy to control, excellent for a practice day at the track and really shines on the trails around our home here in Kenai, Alaska. Ok, ok, so most people do ride dogsleds around here, sorry I can’t stand the scenery. |

Break in, Ya Sure. I broke it in alright. The owners manual should read,
Hold On and Shut Up
It's more like this thing broke me in... But I'm Still Smiling!
Coming soon, if I get my butt off the seat, a recounting of what its like stepping up to this fantastic ride. Ya Gotta Love it, it's a totally spine-tingling, bind bending, gut wrenching experience. So see ya later – I’m going riding…
Just ran across this stuff, from what I've been hearing it's good stuff and can stop those traffic
| Works on your streetbike license plates too. |
|
|
| If you ride fast like most of us do, this stuff is like GOLD. Saves on lawyers, traffic fines, court costs, and just the inconvenience of getting nabbed. | |
